Teen Leadership Program
Lohse Family YMCA is committed to building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Our Teen Leadership program (TLP) is a fun and active way to strengthen your teen’s body, mind, and spirit as they work on challenges to help become successful and active young adults.
TLP stresses volunteerism, physical activity, nutrition, technology, as well as job/college preparation. Teens will be involved with the Stealth Health/Akshen Project which incorporates technology into nutrition and physical activity. It also will be a S.W.A.T. (Students Working Against Tobacco) Coalition group. Spring TLP dates are Saturday April 3rd, April 17th, May 1st, May 15th, and May 29th. TLP meets from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and we will have fieldtrips. Once registration is completed, students will be interviewed to evaluate that participants have the values and dedication for the program. See our registration form for more details, or you can also register online!
Teen Summer Camp
Teen Summer Camp (TLP) will get your teen involved and active this summer! This program will help build your teen physically, mentally, and spiritually. Job preparation, volunteerism, nutrition, technology and physical activity are our main focuses. This program will be involved with the Stealth Health/Akshen Project which incorporates technology into nutrition and physical activity. Additional information and registration materials can be obtained in our downloadable flyer, or you can also register online.
