Located at Nogales Highway and Irvington Road on the grounds of the Rudy Garcia Park, the Mulcahy/City YMCA has been serving the southside Tucson community since 1960. We occupy a 14,000 square foot building owned by the City of Tucson. We have 8 age appropriate classrooms, a multi-purpose game room/computer lab, 2 playgrounds, a basketball court and a full service kitchen.

At the Mulcahy Y our entire focus is on child care. We serve children from 1 to 12 years old. Our preschool is for children between 1 and 5 years old. We have after school child care for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade with the YMCA Fun Factory. During the summer we also operate Camp Wannago, a summer day camp for kids just starting Kindergarten all the way up to 12 years of age. Our child care programs are licensed and inspected by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and certified by the Department of Economic Security (DES).

Financial assistance is available for some families (based on income) through the Department of Economic Security Child Care Division (DES). The YMCA Financial Assistance Program also offers aid dependant on financial need and available resources.
