Mulcahy Preschool

The Mulcahy Preschool is a values driven, comprehensive enrichment program that will give your child the individual attention and encouragement they need to grow into a healthy and capable adult. We design our activities to encourage your child to question, experiment, think and reason. Our goal is to foster growth in the whole child: emotionally, physically, intellectually and socially.

Our preschool program is for children between 1 and 5 years old. Children enrolled in our program get to experience fun weekly themes, character values training and age appropriate play equipment.

In order to meet our commitment to provide your child with the best experience possible, we require that all of our staff meet or exceed all requirements mandated by the Arizona Department of Health Services. We have low staff to child ratios so that we can ensure that each child receives the attention they need. One's are 6:1, two's are 8:1, three's are 13:1 and four's and five's are 15:1. Our facility is DES approved.

Financial Assistance is available for some families (based on income) through the Department of Economic Security Child Care Division (DES). Thanks to the generous gifts of individuals and companies in our community, we are also able to offer assistance to some families through the YMCA Financial Assistance Program. Assistance is limited by the resources we have available, so we recommend that you apply as early as possible.

You can elect to have your child attend the Mulcahy Preschool 3, 4 or 5 days a week. Rates vary depending on your child's age and a Program Membership ($20 per year) is required if you are not a YMCA Facility Member. Children that are 1 or 2 years old can attend for 3 days for $79.80 per week, 4 days for $106.40 or 5 days for $133. Children 3, 4 or 5 years old may attend 3 days for $76.80, 4 days for $102.40 or 5 days for $128.
