Northwest YMCA Child Care
The Northwest YMCA does not offer preschool or after school child care. If you are in need of preschool or after school care the Jacobs, Lighthouse, Lohse, Mulcahy and Ott YMCAs all have great programs.
Day Camp
Welcome to the Northwest YMCA Summer Day Camp! Our Summer Day Camp is design for youth entering the 1st through 6th grade in the Fall of 2010. Summer Day Camp will be offered at two different sites, Butterfield Elementary School and Tortolita Middle School. We offer activities for children ages 6 to 13 including group games, arts and crafts, team building, character development, swimming, physical education, and field trips. Children are placed in age appropriate groups which help them build strong friendships and confidence.
Summer Day Camp runs from June 1st through July 23rd, 2010. Field trips are included in the weekly fee of $115. Week 1 and 6 are only 4 days long, so that weekly fee is $95. Financial Assistance may be available. The deadline to submit application for financial assistance is May 14th.
Campers are required to bring a sack lunch each day. *Parent package are due by May 24, 2010. For additional registration information, please download the registration packet or you may also register online.

Example Schedule
Monday – Thursday: Day camp activities will be at the school site.
Friday: Field trip and swimming pool.
7:30am – 7:45am Parent drop off at school site
7:45am – 8:15am Camp rally, group count and line up
8:15am – 9:00am Group games
9:00am – 9:30am Bathroom break and snack
9:40am – 10:40am Arts and crafts, groups games, and making friends!!
10:50am – 11:50am Team building and arts and crafts
12:00pm – 12:35pm Lunch
1:45pm – 2:45pm Arts and crafts, group games, and making friends!!
2:50pm – 3:50pm Board and group games
4:00pm – 5:00pm Team building
5:00pm – 6:00pm Parent pick up
On Friday we will be back from our field trip at 2:00pm. Campers will swim at the Northwest YMCA pool from 2pm to 3:30pm. Pick up is available from 4:30pm to 6:00pm at the school site.
Kinder Camp
Kinder Camp is a great experience for the little guys and gals (ages 4 and 5) about to enter kindergarten in the Fall of 2010. Educational games, songs, activities and lunch are all organized to prepare your child to be successful in the school setting. Camp is based at Butterfield Elementary School. Campers are encourage to bring additional snacks to camp every day and be fully potty trained. Choose from 5 sessions in June or 3 sessions in July. All session will be Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Each session costs $55 for Facility Members and $65 for Program Members. Weekly sessions are available from June 1 - July 23.

Young Rembrandts
Young Rembrandts is debunking the "myth of art" one child at a time. We believe all children can and should learn to draw! We offer Kinder Power of Drawing (ages 4 and 5), Elementary Drawing Classes (ages 6 to 12) and Cartoon Drawing Classes (ages 6 to 12). Facility Members pay $60 per six week session, non-members pay $65. Download our flyer for more information.
