Northwest YMCA Child Care
The Northwest YMCA does not offer preschool or after school child care. If you are in need of preschool or after school care the Jacobs, Lighthouse, Lohse, Mulcahy and Ott YMCAs all have great programs.
Summer Day Camp
The Northwest YMCA offers a unique Summer Day Camp for youth entering the 1st through 6th grade in the Fall of 2009. This program is a day camp with an outdoor twist. Campers are bused daily to and from the Triangle Y Ranch Camp and Retreat Center, located in Oracle, Arizona. The camp covers 400 acres within the Coronado National Forest. Northwest YMCA Day Campers can look forward to enriching arts and crafts, songs, games, scaling a 40 foot climbing wall, shooting a bow and exploring the high desert landscape on a nature hike. All activities will be under the supervision of our trained and knowledgeable staff. Make friends and build lasting memories at Camp!
Camp is offered from May 26 to August 7. Field trips are included in the weekly fee. Weekly fee is $150. Weeks 1 and 6 are only 4 days long and we do not have field trips planned for those weeks, so that weekly fee is $96. Financial Assistance may be available. The deadline to submit your application for assistance is May 13.

7:45am – 8:00am Load buses in the lower lot of the YMCA
8:00am – 9:00am Travel to the Triangle Y Ranch Camp
9:00am – 1:45pm Camptivities and making friends!!
1:45pm – 2:00pm Load bus
2:00pm – 3:00pm Travel to the Northwest YMCA
3:00pm – 4:15pm Swim (parents may pick up at this time)
4:15pm – 5:00pm Camper will be transitioned from the pool to the gym (Camper
will not be release during this time)
5:00pm – 6:00pm Parent pick up at the Northwest YMCA Gym
On Thursdays we will be back from our field trip at 2:00pm. Campers will swim upon our arrival until 4:00pm. Pick up is available from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the Gym on Thursdays.
On Fridays we will be at the Northwest Park and Pima Community College from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Swimming is from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Parent pick up in the Northwest Gym is from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

Kinder Camp
Kinder Camp is a great experience for the little guys and gals (ages 4 and 5) about to enter kindergarten in the Fall of 2009. Educational games, songs, activities and lunch are all organized to prepare your child to be successful in the school setting. Lifeguard taught swimming lessons are included on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Camp is based in the Community Room. Campers must bring a sack lunch to camp every day and be fully potty trained. Choose from 4 sessions in June or 4 sessions in July. All session will be Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Each session costs $55 for Facility Members and $65 for Program Members. Weekly sessions are available from June 1 - July 31. For those working families who need care earlier, we offer before care from 7:00am-11:00am for an additional weekly fee of $25.
