Map & Directions

Nestled in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains outside of Oracle, Arizona, the YMCA Triangle Y Ranch has a 50 year tradition of nurturing growth in boys and girls. Just 40 miles north of Tucson at an elevation of 5,000 feet, the camp covers 400 acres within the Coronado National Forest. It offers a unique outdoor experience that includes hiking on nature trails, horseback riding, swimming, archery, arts and crafts, camping and so much more. Children and teens enjoy a sense of adventure and exploration while under the guidance of experienced YMCA staff.
The Triangle Y Ranch Camp and Retreat Center is a year round facility. We offer a variety of Summer Camp programs in June and July. From August to May we run a retreat center which can handle groups as small as 25 and as large as 300.
At the Triangle Y, we believe that every child can benefit from going to summer camp. Our philosophy is that "based on available resources, no child will be turned away due to the inability to pay a fee." Thanks to the generous support of the Arizona Daily Star Sportsman Fund, the Jeffrey Minker Corporate Campership Campaign, the YMCA Youth Foundation and the many individuals and companies who contribute to the Y's annual Changing Lives Campaign we are able to offer "camperships" to families that would otherwise miss out on the camp experience. We are limited in the number of campers we can provide financial aid for by the funds we have, so we recommend that you apply early. You can get started by downloading the application. You might also want to read about the other financial assistance for other Y programs and services.
