Administrative Assistant II – Northwest Family YMCA
The Northwest Family YMCA is looking to expand their team and is looking for a full time administrative assistant to support the executive director and branch executive. Key duties will include providing leadership in organizing meetings and conferences, including preparation of agendas, exhibits, and recording and distribution of minutes, responding to routine inquiries and directing requests to the appropriate person, and processing financial records required by the corporate office. The administrative assistant will also be responsible for collecting and submitting payroll records to the payroll/HR department, providing leadership and administrative support during the annual fundraising campaign, and maintaining branch personnel files. Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of college or equivalent office experience, be computer literate to include familiarity with Microsoft office software, and be able to operate basic office machinery. The preferred candidate will have at least 1-3 years prior administrative assistant experience. The administrative assistant must communicate in a professional manner with staff, members, and guests and will be responsible for composing business correspondence on behalf of the executive director.

Group Leader I & II - Lighthouse/City YMCA
Spend your afternoons working with school age children and help make positive lasting memories for children in our programs! The Lighthouse YMCA is looking to hire part-time group leader I’s and II’s to make after school activities in the TUSD area fun and exciting and an environment to make new friends! Sports/Skills Assistant Coordinator – Lohse Family YMCA
Join our sports department at the Lohse Family YMCA and make our sports season a positive experience for all involved. Qualified applicants for our sports assistant position must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 1-2 years leadership or instruction experience in basketball. The preferred candidate will have previous league coordination experience. Applicants will be responsible for coordinating games in basketball by educating participants and coaches on the importance of following game rules and supporting our philosophy of everyone plays, everyone wins in our youth leagues. The coordinator will be responsible for organization and cleanliness of the playing area, ensuring scoreboard and record keeping is done for each game, and to report results, cancellations, or problems to the program coordinator or director. The assistant coordinator will be interacting with staff, parents, volunteers, and participants and must exercise sound judgment to make the sports experience a memorable one. Instructors will be responsible for monitoring the safety of those involved in the program and must possess current 1st Aid/CPR certifications. The assistant coordinator will be responsible for continuing to schedule leagues already in effect. Site Coordinator – Ott Family YMCA (Vail area)
Join the Ott Family YMCA staff team part-time as a site coordinator at one of our sites in Vail and assist our program director with the administration, coordination, development and operating functions of our after school programs. Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 24 months or more of childcare experience or NAC, CDA, CPC, or CCP credential or an associate’s or bachelor's degree in childcare or a closely related field. Program Director- Lohse Family YMCA
Join the Lohse Family YMCA staff team as a member of our management team and work under the supervision of our Program/Operations Director to be responsible for the planning, promotion, evaluation, supervision, management and administration of Aquatics; Family and Strengthening; and Youth and Adult Sports programs at the downtown Lohse Family YMCA. Qualified applicants must possess a four-year bachelor’s degree, have knowledge and experience in budgeting, hiring, training and supervision of staff, possess strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional requirements will include previous experience in programming of youth and family activities, working with volunteers, and demonstrating problem solving skills. The Program Director must possess knowledge of sound fiscal management practices, purchasing, personnel and payroll administration, systems organization and basic accounting. Additional requirements include a working knowledge of computer applications in a business environment, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Access as well as computer connectivity with work groups. The incumbent must demonstrate the ability to build and be part of a strong staff team. Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age with current CPR/AED/First Aid certification with the preferred candidate possessing a minimum of 1-year of supervision experience. As a member of the management team, the program director will need to attend and participate in staff and leadership trainings as they become available. Lifeguard II - Ott Family YMCA
Join the east side Ott Family YMCA aquatics staff team part-time and help keep our pool and aquatics facility clean and safe for staff and our members. Qualified applicants will be at least 18 years old with current CPR/AED/1st Aid certification for the professional rescuer and American Red Cross or YMCA lifeguard certification with a minimum of 1-3 years prior aquatics experience. Lifeguard responsibilities will include promoting safety, regulating swimmers and employing approved life saving and first aid techniques in the event of an emergency. Lifeguard must be able to lift and carry in excess of 50 lbs and be able to swim with the equivalent of a 50 lb drag. The preferred candidate will be able to work year round. Lifeguards will need to attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings in teaching swim lessons. A pre hire/ post offer drug test will be required for all aquatics positions. The preferred candidate will have a flexible schedule and may need to work mornings, evenings, or weekends depending upon the needs of the business.
