Child Watch is a babysitting service for our members who need someone to take care of their children while they get in a workout at the Y. This is a feature of your Membership, so there is no additional charge. Child Watch is offered at all four of our full service branches (Lighthouse, Lohse, Northwest and Ott). There is some variation in hours and allowed ages among the branches.

There are a few things you need to keep in mind when using Child Watch:
You must be the parent or guardian of the child you are leaving at Child Watch.- You must remain on the premises. Make sure to let the Child Watch staff know where you will be so that they can reach you if the need arises.
- Because this is a service designed to allow parents to workout, there is a 2 hour limit per child per day.
- You will be asked for a picture ID when dropping off and picking up your child.
- The parent or guardian that picks up a child must be the same parent that dropped them off.
- Child Watch staff will not change diapers. Staff will notify the parent if a baby's diaper needs to be changed.
- The YMCA does not provide diapers, wipes, snacks or drinks.
- In order to maintain a healthy environment, children who are sick will not be allowed into Child Watch.
