We need amazing mentors to teach our future leaders! Join the Northwest YMCA and provide young people between the ages of 8 to 18 years old with the tools needed to become our future leaders. The Angel Youth Center programs are designed to provide a safe, fun and positive learning environment for youth to flourish and grow. Qualified applicants will be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants 21 years of age and older should have a valid Arizona driver’s license, provide a three year driving history from MVD and must pass a post-offer, pre-hire drug screening to be a driver of our YMCA vehicles. Teen leaders will be responsible for monitoring the safety of those involved in these programs and must have current CPR/1st aid certification, and will be required to submit fingerprints to AZ DPS within 7 days of hire to obtain a fingerprint clearance card if you do not currently have one. Teen Leaders are also responsible for leading by example, as well as lesson planning that incorporates our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility into the programs.

Previous experience working with children and teens is preferred. Positions will remain open until filled.
