The Northwest YMCA is looking for qualified applicants at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 year’s prior experience in supervision of employees and customer service to join our team. Major duties will include supervisor, mentor and motivate the Member Service team in conducting professional tours and interviews of prospective members. Other duties will include answering phones, providing members and participants with information about YMCA programs, providing clerical support and ensuring proper procedures are followed. This person needs to also ensure that YMCA policies and procedures are adhered to on a consistent basis. The Member Service Supervisor must also maintain a welcoming, positive and congenial attitude. Applicants must have a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends as schedule will vary based on business needs. Staff must also be available to attend and participate in all staff trainings/meeting as they occur. CPR/1st Aid certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire for this position.
