FAQ
What is MyWELLID?
MyWELLD is the online platform the YMCA of Southern Arizona uses to verify insurance and fitness-benefit eligibility and get your membership set up. It’s quick, secure, and available at mywelld.com/join/tucsonymca.
Which insurance and fitness benefit programs are eligible?
We currently accept SilverSneakers®, Renew Active®, One Pass™, Silver&Fit®, and Ambetter Membership. If your plan includes one of these fitness benefits, you may qualify for a no-cost YMCA membership.
What is the difference between a Benefit ID and a Health Insurance ID?
Your Benefit ID is a number specific to your fitness program (such as SilverSneakers, Renew Active, One Pass, or Silver&Fit) and is usually found on your fitness benefit card or your insurer’s member portal. Your Health Insurance ID is your general insurance policy ID number, found on your insurance card. MyWELLD will tell you which one to enter based on the program you select.
Is there a cost to join through MyWELLID?
Most eligible members receive a full YMCA membership at no cost as part of their insurance or fitness benefit plan. Your exact benefit depends on your specific plan, so we recommend checking your eligibility on MyWELLD to confirm what’s included.
Do I still need to visit a YMCA Branch?
Yes. After you complete your eligibility check and select a program on MyWELLD, you’ll need to visit your chosen YMCA of Southern Arizona branch with a valid photo ID to complete your enrollment in person.
