For Omar, the Y is more than a gym, it is his motivational support. Omar decided to take his health more seriously and started attending the YMCA 3-5 times a week. In a year he lost more than 90 pounds!

At the Y, Omar finds the motivation he needs to keep coming back day after day. He said, “I am grateful for having the support of staff and a relaxed atmosphere where I can come every week to improve myself. There has never been a time where I have not felt welcomed and appreciated at the Y.”
