Get your 6-8 Year Old
off to a good start
SUMMER 2022 REGISTRATION OPENS ON NOVEMBER 1, 2021
Not quite ready for a full session of Overnight Camp? Mini Overnight Camp is designed to introduce first time campers, ages 6-8, to the traditions and excitement of overnight camp. These campers attend camp for three days and two nights and will get an introduction to camp life, activities, and traditions. We increase the staff to camper ratio so that our youngest campers can play, learn about camp, and gain self-confidence.
Mini Campers get to spend their session in our Lodges away from the older campers, where we can slow the schedule down and get them used to time away at Camp.
After checking in between 1-3 PM, the campers will move into an air-conditioned room that they will share with their cohort for the week. They will move from activity to activity with this small group throughout the week, sharing meals and experiences. When they head home, they will be full of stories and memories and ready to come back for more.
Register for sessions by clicking on the links below. YMCA of Southern Arizona membership is required. Triangle Y Ranch Camp Program memberships are $25 per camper/$50 per family. Please take a moment to look at the rate descriptions below and determine which of the three prices your family is able to pay for your child’s camp experience. Price selection is done strictly on an honor system. If you can afford to pay the full fee (Tier A), please do so. If you cannot, simply select the price which is right for your family’s circumstances. There is no difference in the camp experience for campers registered at different tiers and tier selection is kept confidential. Additional assistance is available by applying here. Tier discount codes “MiniTierB ” – $50 off and “MiniTierC” – $75 off.
For the summer of 2022, COVID-19 concerns will still be around and know that they will evolve prior to the start of camp. We will be layering non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPI) during our program. These NPIs will include requiring anyone who is sick to stay/go home (screening will be done at check-in and throughout the week), keeping campers in cohorts throughout the week, conducting most activities outdoors and cleaning and sanitizing including using an electrostatic sprayer. Parent handbook and health forms will be sent out during the 1st week in May in order to have the most up to date information. To date, we do not know if or what vaccinations might be required.
We are not currently scheduling any stayover weekends or bus transportation for Summer 2022.
