The Y’s Summer Camp equal parts educational and entertaining. The Y’s Summer Camp also includes hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activities to help prevent summer learning loss. We are also bringing back some of our favorite camp traditions to ensure a memorable and rewarding experience for all.

7 – 9 Welcome & Drop-off
9 – 9:30 Opening Ceremony
9:30 – 10:30 Active Group Games
10:30 – 12 Education Stations
12 – 1 Lunch & Fun
1 – 2:30 Virtual Field Trip
2:30 – 3:30 Group Activities
3:30 – 4 Closing Ceremony
4 – 6 Goodbye & Pick-up

Please note the following:

  • You must present your ID at check out for child pick-up
  • All check in and out procedures will occur outside of the facilities.
  • Parents and caregivers will not be allowed in the facility.
  • All children go through a wellness check
  • All staff and children are required to wear a face covering or mask unless medically exempt.
  • The YMCA staff will keep groups at 12 or less.
  • Groups will move independently within the facility separated from other groups.
  • Groups will sanitize and disinfect their areas between transitions.
  • Groups will wash their hands regularly and follow a hand washing schedule that will be posted at each site.

Personal items allowed:

  • Water Bottle
  • Breakfast/Lunch/Snacks if needed.  See site specifics for more information.
  • No other personal items will be permitted

Serving ages:

5-12 years


First week of camp begins the week of  June 6th and will continue through July 29th. The camp experience will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Before care will begin at 7:00 am (6:30am at Mulcahy) and after care will last until 6:00 pm.

Registration Fee (non-refundable): $15 per child (one-time fee due at time of registration)
Weekly Deposit (non-refundable): $10/week per child (due at time of registration)

The YMCA of Southern Arizona has created a tiered pricing structure to accommodate all families during these challenging time. Please take a moment to look at the rate descriptions below and determine which of the three prices your family is able to pay for your child’s camp experience. Price selection is done strictly on an honor system. If you can afford to pay the full fee (Tier A), please do so. If you cannot, simply select the price which is right for your family’s circumstances. There is no difference in the camp experience for campers registered at different tiers and tier selection is kept confidential.

If you receive reimbursement from a 3rd party agency such as DES, proper authorization is required before registering.  Click here for more information.

Financial Assistance: If you are applying for financial assistance, please complete the Youth Development Financial Assistance application located on the side menu. Please note to complete the financial assistance application you may need to register for a google account if you don’t already have one. Email us with any questions regarding the process:

PLEASE NOTE: All registrants must have a Y family membership (monthly, includes facility usage) or a Y program membership (one time annual fee, does not include access to gym facilities) in order to register for summer camp online.

This rate most accurately reflects the true cost of camp, including depreciation, operational, and administrative costs. If you can afford to pay this fee, please do so.

  • $175/week for Y family members
  • $195/week for Y program members

This is our partially subsidized rate for those who cannot quite afford the full cost of camp. Tier B pricing is available using promo code YDCAMPB during the registration process.

  • $165/week for Y family members
  • $185/week for Y program members

This is our most heavily YMCA-subsidized rate for families. Tier C pricing is available using promo code YDCAMPC during the registration process.

  • $155/week for Y family members
  • $175/week for Y program members

Payments will be automatically scheduled 16 days prior to the start date of the camp week. Registration for each week will close 14 days before the start date of the camp week.   So make sure and register early!

Week 1 : June 6 – June 1 “Splish splash summer is back”

Cannonball into summer fun where we will dive into water based activities & H20 education!

Week 2: June 13 – June 17 “Arizona ris’in”

From sunrise to sunset campers will experience all of the beauty of Arizona life and desert creatures!

Week 3: June 20 – June 24 “Go’in Green”

All craft & STEM activities will based on Reduce, Reuse & Recycle!

Week 4: June 27 – July 1 “Giants, Dragons, & unicorns, oh my!”

Once upon a time in a YMCA far, far away… we played, created and imagined a mythical world!

Week 5: july 5 – july 8 (no programming on july 4th) “Color Clash”

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple!  Let’s work as at team and level up to team rainbow for our visit to the Triangle Y Ranch Camp! Lots of Collaboration and Challenges! (July 8th – campers will all travel to the Triangle Ranch Camp for the day!)

Week 6:  july 11 – july 15 “Sports of all sorts”

We are stronger together as we develop sportsmanship and create friendly competitions and challenges!

Week 7: july 18 – july 22 “citizen scientists”

With NASA as our partner, our citizen scientist campers will research and discover the Earth and all of its wonders!

Week 8: July 25 – July 29 “Don’t Blend In”
