Games & Practice Schedules
- There will be two evaluation games, five regular-season games, and play-offs (3rd grade – 9th grade).
- There will be eight regular season games for Kindergarten – 2nd grade.
- The practice nights schedule is dependent upon the team that your child is placed with. Practice night requests are available during the registration process. We try our best to honor requests, but they aren’t guaranteed.
Who Can Participate?
Kindergarten – 9th grade (Register your child for the 2026- 2027 school year).
Where Is It Located?
Youth basketball is available at the Northwest YMCA Pima County Community Center, Lohse Family YMCA, and the Ott Family YMCA. Travel is necessary, as games will be played between the locations.
Additional Information
For 3rd-9th grade basketball game days are on Friday nights and/or Saturdays.
All participants must purchase a reversible Jr. Suns jersey if they do not currently have one. A jersey may be purchased during the registration process.

Y VOLLEYBALL
Get ready to Serve, Set, and Spike with YMCA’s All Girls Youth Volleyball League! We’re excited to announce our upcoming Fall 2026 season, where young athletes will experience the perfect mix of skill-building, teamwork, and fun-filled competition on the court.
This season, our league welcomes players in grades 3–9, offering a supportive and empowering environment for both beginners and experienced players to grow their game. Whether you’re learning the basics or perfecting your serve, our program focuses on developing strong fundamentals, boosting confidence, and fostering a true love for volleyball.
Led by dedicated YMCA coaches, players will learn how to communicate, collaborate, and compete—all while building lifelong friendships and confidence both on and off the court.
